On March 10, 2017 the Comet Encke will be visible in our night skies. Encke orbits our sun once every 3.3 years, which is the quickest known orbit of any comet. Step out your door to view this spectacular light show. Then on Saturday, March 11, 2017 step inside Iron Gate Winery to view our show, “Curse of the Comet”, a Murder Mystery Dinner.
It is September 17, 1945 and we are at Highview, the secluded Beverly Hills estate of movie star Maurice Mason. There is a gathering, conceived as a lark, to disprove an ancient curse surrounding the tomb of Hopkay. They were also there to view the comet, not seen for 400 years. Unfortunately, this morning, the body of Maurice’s twin brother, famed archaeologist Myron Mason, was found draped across the thorn bushes that grown in profusion on the grounds. Put your sleuthing skills to work to help us solve this mystery.
Dinner will begin at 7:00 with the Murder Mystery immediately after.
