Iron Gate Vineyards Smart Net Systems bird netting is manufactured using the finest quality Japanese U.V. protected polyethylene beads. We use the highest level of quality control standards in the manufacturing process in order to pass a fine quality crop protection netting on to you, our customer. Why do we use polyethylene netting rather than nylon or polypropylene? Polyethylene lasts up to 50% times longer under U.V. exposure than nylon or polypropylene. When comparing polyethylene to nylon, not only will polyethylene last longer, polyethylene netting compounds are over 15% lighter than nylon netting compounds. Custom sizes made to order. We require at least four months of lead-time for custom orders. Netting widths up to 60 feet on three quarter inch square mesh can be ordered. Lengths can be made to your exact specifications. To manufacture custom size orders we require a 40% deposit on ordering.
